Not at all. Czerwik tastings are designed for curious beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike. We explain the wines, cheeses and pairing choices clearly, without jargon or formality.

Our public tasting evenings take place at Czerwik, 82 Commercial Street, Brighouse, West Yorkshire, HD6 1AQ. Private and corporate tastings can also be arranged at another suitable venue by agreement.

Yes. Public wine tastings are for guests aged 18 or over unless the individual event listing expressly states otherwise. Czerwik operates Challenge 25, so please bring accepted photographic identification if you may be asked for it.

Tell us about allergies, dietary requirements and accessibility needs when booking and no later than 14 days before your event. Our experiences commonly include milk, wine may contain sulphites and other allergens may be present, so we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment. For a medically serious requirement, contact us before paying so we can confirm whether the experience can be provided safely.

Yes. Places are limited and subject to availability. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received and Czerwik has issued a confirmation for the date and time shown.

Public tasting events require a minimum of 10 guests. If the minimum is not reached and Czerwik cancels the event, you can choose a transfer to an available alternative tasting date or a full refund of the amount paid to Czerwik.

Public tasting tickets are normally non-refundable because they are for a leisure activity on a specific date. If you contact us at least 14 clear days before the tasting, Czerwik may allow one transfer to another published date, subject to availability. If you cannot attend, you may give your place to another guest aged 18 or over. Please tell us their name and any dietary or accessibility requirements before the event.

Yes. Czerwik hosts private celebrations, team events and client gatherings at our Brighouse venue or, where agreed, at your chosen venue. Tell us your preferred date, approximate guest numbers and location, and we’ll shape the wines, cheeses and pacing around your group.

Contact us when booking and no later than 14 days before the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate advance requests, but please speak to us before paying if an adjustment is essential to your visit.

If Czerwik changes the date, venue or essential nature of an event, we will contact the person who booked as soon as reasonably possible. If Czerwik cancels, you may choose a transfer or a full refund of the amount paid to Czerwik.
